Hey pardners, we are being a thorn in the BATFE's side. Lookie at what these a$$*oles are saying about us silly little firearms owners. This is good stuff!

Howdy Partners,
Whenever they're confronted with the gun violence problem, the NRA's answer is usually "enforcement." Unless, that is, the criminals facing enforcement are their own gun dealers.
The NRA talks a good game with law enforcement (at least, to the media-- behind officers' backs at their conventions, the ATF becomes a group of "jackbooted thugs"). They claim to support police officers in their efforts to stop violent crime. They claim they want to support the ATF in their efforts to get firearms off of the streets.
But in their actions, the NRA's stance couldn't be more different. They routinely gut the funding and abilities of groups like the ATF. When they aren't fighting in Congress to give our law enforcement less and less funding every year, they're filing suit against them in the courts, claiming "infringement" at gun shows and upon gun dealers.
One gun dealer today claimed the ATF is being much too harsh in his home state of Idaho-- he says they're shutting him down for the smallest of clerical errors, and he hints that the ATF is almost singlehandedly responsible for a nearly 55% drop in the amount of firearms dealers in that state.
As we said, he couldn't be more wrong. Because the NRA has been doing such a thorough job putting the ATF out of commission, it's apparent that authorities aren't doing enough to crack down on these gun dealers-- they say they can only visit individual dealers once every 20 years. It took them five years to shut down Red's, and as we reported a few weeks ago, even then Red's is still legally allowed to sell all their current stock.
Did you catch that? Even when the ATF can fight through the red tape the NRA is strangling them with, and even when they're allowed to muster the strength necessary to shut down a dealer who clearly is violating the regulations, they still cannot keep him from selling off his firearms. The NRA has hamstrung our law enforcement so much so that even when they know where the criminals are and what they've done, they are powerless to stop them from continuing to sell firearms to criminals.
Oh, and the 55% drop figure? The ATF, in the last five years, has shut down two gun dealers in Idaho. They're not responsible for the fewer firearms dealers any more than a line of floss can be responsible for stopping a commercial airliner. So what is responsible?
Americans are plagued by violence, and fed up with the NRA's scheming and spinning. They're done with guns and gun dealers who illegally allow those firearms to fall into the wrong hands.
How ironic that the violence made possible by the gun dealers could very be the catalyst that ends their sales for good? Because unfortunately, with the situation given to them by the NRA's influence on Congress, it doesn't look like that's something the ATF will be able to do.
Please do not punch your screen, it is not its fault. These a$$78les are pathetic.
