Anyone here have a Dan Wesson 1911 ?

Just completed my CCW course and am looking for a handgun to carry. After looking at Springfields ,Kimbers I think I may have decided on a Dan Wesson Bobtail. Anyone here have one? Pros , Cons ? Thanks

Yes I have the Pointman Major 1911 . I like it very much. Feels nice in my hand . Its easy for a .45 on recoil. aims very well. I also find it shoots most anything I have put in it so far. Break down for cleaning cant be much easier than a 1911. The fit and finish on it is quite nice. I think you will be happy with one .

I don't have a DW but I have a Fusion. The former owner of DW started a company that custom builds 1911's. Real nice guns, he also builds bob tails, below is the 1911 I had him build for me
