Got one of the Century Arms rifles. :spew:
To start with it had a ground bolt and NO bolt gap.
I have since replaced the following parts: bolt head, locking piece, and installed +4 rollers.
All of that effort and all I get is .007 (seven thousands) of an inch for bolt gap! :nonono:
Any ideas on what I can do at this point? :1087:
I was happy with this rifle till I got educated. Almost wished I'd stayed ignorant of the thing. Almost.

Well, you are in spec... barely. .004 is minimum acceptable. I think there are +6 rollers available other than that the only thing I can think of is to repress the barrel. I know that would be a pain in the a55 but it would give you opportunity to get your bolt gap perfect with stock rollers. I think I'd just shoot it as is and go back to being happy with it!

I'd shoot it as is since you're in the spec window. Then if it falls out of spec then repress it.

I've got the same problem!!! Mine ends up with a .006 gap and I've been shootong for about a year and the gap hasn't changed. Where would I get .006 rollers? Thanks, Jeff

Gonna take a lot of shooting before your outta spec and at the cost of x51 these days it may take forever!!
