You know it's getting bad when you see this:

Worst part is they will probably end up selling all this crap eventually.

They are praying on people who have no idea about the problems with Indian ammo. Neophytes will see "7.62x51" and start snapping it up. They'll start using it and have no end of problems and learn a dangerous lesson.
Personally I think it's unethical to sell the Indian ammo but who am I to say how a company should act.

From the link above:
Indian .308 FMJ 150gr brass case on five round stripper clips, Berdan primed, non-corrosive, 50 rounds on cotton bandoliers, 1970's production...
I thought the Indian ammo made in the 1970's wasn't the really bad stuff?

This stuff was only forty cents a round at the last show I was at. I passed when it was less than 13 cents a round for the bandolered stuff.

Not to hijack this thread, but I was cleaning the office and found a CTD catalog from December 2004. I have gotten so used to the current ammo prices that I was shocked by the 500 rounds of Wolf 7.62x39 in a .50 can for $49.95.
I can also remember buying 160rd boxes of Austrailian (ADI) .308 in blister packs for $20.
Times change, hopefully it will change back sometime.
