I want a low rise scope mount that will work for me. I am looking at cheapos right now b/c my glass I have isn't that high quality. Will the airsplat one that people recommend work for me? I reviewed a few old posts but it seems they all have stamped recievers. I bought an NCStar low mount and broke it. Figured it would happen but it was cheap. Thanks for the advice in advance. How you all like my gray girl? I like the green furniture the best but gave this a try b/c gray is my favorite color. Also just learned of the significance of the St. A's while reading previous threads.

You can get the cheap claw mount for that cast receiver. They are built pretty good. Find the one has has the rail instead of the Stanag mount on top.

i went with this one ,
you will need the see through or extra High Scopr Mont Rings

mounts fine cannot move backwards dut to the fixed
site base on a CETME ..
can creek forward unless using a set screw in the top of the receiver

just do not over torx the screws
also i just received it on wed 1-14-09 and the mount
is all Aluminium , i could not get a magnet to stick to anything,,

I am not sure about a low profile scope mount but here is a link to Perro's how to for fitting a claw mount to a cast Cetme. It is important to remember that the outer dimensions of the cast recievers are out of spec. The reciever is thicker and bulkier so some modification to the mount or reciever may be required.

You can get away with cheaper sometimes and others you gotta pay the piper. The steel mounts from RTG and other places won't fly apart like the aluminum ones. They cost a lot but if you need it........ Plenty of folks use aluminum with no probs but each of these guns are different and YRMV.

My B&T knockoff shown in that link to Airsplat has been a keeper on my G3 clone, although it's a stamped receiver.after fitting it,back off the lock screws on one corner at a time enough to drip some high tork Loctite on the threads, and snug em back.I've got hundreds of rounds with this mount and no loosey... 13013
