Hey all.
I am an unabashed supporter of the CETME rifle, as you could imagine. And I am an outspoken enthusiast of venues wherein we fire our rifles as they were intended to be fired. Right now that is pretty much just the Appleseed Program.
I am conversant in the manually operated rifles fielded by our nation in the two World Wars, and encourage owners of said implements to try them as the men who carried them for serious business did, again with the Appleseed plug.
I am a merchant mariner by trade. If y'all live in economically depressed regions of our nation, pm me and I can give ya some pointers on a career field dying for lack of fresh blood. And unlike in times past, its a job you can walk away from whenever you wish; no enlistment type stuff, and the pay would rival that enjoyed by the union guys in industries negatively impacted in this economy, like the auto industry.

Well I work a dredge, currently engaged in Galveston, TX for a lengthy contract. However I am looking at an international position. It would require me to take a raise of about 50 per cent. The rotation would be longer on/longer off, with only a 50 per cent work cycle. Working half a year with an annual income in excess of 130K works for me. How's about you?
Any of y'all industrial electricians? That's what I am, just on a ship.
What's UAW offering at the Ford plants these days?
