He sort of bought it for me about 2 months ago, he's got a friend that's an FFL and the guy got a deal back in November from RR. He'd had a bunch of lowers on order for months and when they finally came in he got them for dealer's price.
We have been trying to hook up since before Christmas to do the deal, and we both finally got off work early enough and were able to meet up. He's got a wife and couple of rug rats that eat up almost all of his spare time. All I got is a wife and the less time we spend together the better! :rockon:
I'm thinking about ordering a Del-ton M4 upper for it, I figure I can get a complete AR for under $650.00

I paid $100 plus 6 shipping for a DPMS stripped lower......6 months ago! I was looking for a lightweight 16" barrel to do an XM177 retro (I have slip over XM177 flash hider). The best estimate I got was 4 months wait! The lower is languishing in the safe until panic over in summer. Right now I am quite happy with my 223 Saiga conversion! It shoots 2 MOA!

You got a very good deal, congrats. Now for the rest of it you'll either pay through the nose or wait till, well you get the picture.

Well we all get good deals, just depends on timeing on what you pay for "good deals" In january got a double star lower for 119 but am not sure what to do with it, still a good deal, but not as good as a couple of years ago paying 450 for a complete ban version of a ar rifle.
