Sig Amt Value?

I am going to an auction the first of May that has several Springfield M1A's, a Mars Cetme, and a SIG AMT in 308. I have a good idea on the Springfields and the Mars, but I have no clue what the SIG is worth. Gun is as new with one clip, but no box.

Give me some idea where the value is in this gun. I would like to purchase all 4 plus several others they have, but I don't think my wife would like that too well as I am sure this AMT will go over $2K. Here is the web sight if any of you guys are interested in what is going to be at the auction.

sig amts are the american version of the sig pe57
they are VERY rare, and valuable

as a point of reference,

the FN FAL was the german Gewehr 1 or G1
the Sig PE 57 was the German Gewehr 2, or G2
the CETME was the German Gewehr 3, or G3
and the AR10 was the G4

you could effectively buy all of the Gewehrs in semi auto except the PE57 cause the AMTs havent been around for AGES

i bet the amts go MUCH higher than 2k

too bad im in a selling frame of mind, cause id probably want one

the amts though are in .308 and stands for american match target, but basically is a pe57

Mike, they also have a Mars Cetme and an AR10 Dutch contract rifle.(At least that is what it looks like) I am hoping to get lucky but if I don't, there are always a couple of Garands and M1A's to try and buy. All I know is I am coming home with something.

Thanks for the thread. I am hoping that this is a "sleeper" and their won't be too much competition there. I am going prepared to give it a hard try and get it which means I have to pass on the L.C. Smith SxS high grade trap gun with the release. That is how serious I am about this gun.
