Went to a pawn shop in Sherman Tx, yesterday. Was looking at swords and knifes, the better half likes them. I am behind the counter looking and various stuff and look up at the guns, they have a turkish mauser for 400 and the low ball price is over two fifty, I told the manager those whole sale for under a hundred, and says, they sometimes buy things wrong. Well they have this shotgun on the shelf, and she says she will take seventy five for it, thus I now have a philipines made riot gun. Any one have any experience with these.

That guy from ARMSCORP used to be based here in Baltimore. Some of his rewelded M14s blew up, He is not very freindly. I would check the GUN out if it seems to work ok , I would say get it . $75.00 for a riot gun is vary good.

Just to clear any confusion...
Armscorp is a Baltimore MD company. It's parent company is Armscorp in South Africa.
Armscor is a Philippines company that is more widely known for the Rock Island Armory 1911s.
Armscorp != Armscor

Well I think it should be fine for a Riot Gun. $75 seems like the right price in 2009, if it cycles fires when you pul the trigger.
I had a Made In P.I. ARMSCOR 38. revolver. It had the look and feel of a cheap 1950s European import revolver. That is the pistol had visable machine marks and a funky feeling grip. It shot just fine and was solid The only thing I really didn't like was the it had stuff written all over the barrel.
i.e. don't shoot your eye out kid
By the way $400 for the Turk is funny. I am surprised the pawn shop guy didn't tell you it was very rare and worth every penny.

I am sure that it is fine, just go down there and get it. If I saw 1 for that price , I would buy it.

Oh I did buy it, just wondered if any one else had one of their shotguns, seems to be servicable enough, hard to not buy a pump shot gun for less than most used single shots go for. Got a bunch of replicia swords for decoration around the house too.

Okie,
If it is anything like the tactical rock island one they have on sale at centerfire.com from Armscor then you got a great deal since theirs is $ 239.99 ...

Its not as tricked out as that one, just a basic riot, four in the tube plus one. Still would like to find the ventlated handguard and if I could put the longer magazine tube on it. Wood stock with buttpad. I guess I could get they synthetic stocks for it but heck hate to put more money into it.
