question.... i dunno much about 37mm....... and i dont want anyone thinking i would be illegal with such a thing, but is it only smoke/flares that you can shoot through those or is it legal to make/buy shotshells for it, and what about flechettes, are they legal to shoot in a sabot?

it is for flares. smoke, bird bombs . shoot what you want out of it . ( as long as it is not a explosive and or a projectile that can cause harm or injury )it is not considered a destructive device by b.a.t.f .measures .... you only have to register a 40mm because they are considered a destructive device by the b.a.t.f.
these are for sale in limited quality . these are hard to obtain . about 10-12 years ago you could find these all over the place

From what I remember on those the 37 was no paperwork, but the 40 needed it. Also on the 37 you could only shoot almost cool stuff out of it(nothing explosive) without a DD license. To get the 40, you had to paper it and then you could shoot what you wanted. I was wrong once, it could happen again.

could you use that setup with a bipod, or would the launcher interfere with it? I know someone that might be interested, but don't wait on me to get hold of him if you get an offer.
