A friend has been suffering from Parkinsons Disease. While she is NOT Catholic, she truly believes a prayer to John Paul (yes the Pope) will help. She asked me and I'm asking you. Her name is Nelda Lee and she is the Great Grand Niece of General Robert E. Lee......no sh!t. I'm not Catholic either, but will pray anyway.

Thanks guys!

P.S. Throw in a prayer to make her a Republican also for me. Right now she's a Democrat..............shhhh.;)

Fido, I will light a candle for her at mass. However, I will NOT pray for her to become a republican. Deep down in my heart I truly believe that the great grand niece of one of the greatest generals to ever live could never favor the liberal attitudes of loss of states and personal rights and the infringement on the Second amendment that the Democratic party of today voices.

A little history lesson. Lee loved the Union but loved his home state of Virgina more. Lee also was a staunch believer in states rights over the Federal government and that men should be allowed to govern themselves and not told what to do by a federal body, that the government should be responsible to the people, not the people responsible to the government.

During the War of Nothern Aggression, Lee's estate in Virginia was seized by the federals and used as a cemetery for the Union dead to try and discrace Lee. We now call it Arlington National Cemetery, the final resting place of many fine and brave soldiers.

Somehow, I think Lee would have been proud to have his lands used for this.

I pray that God bless her and protect her,and help her through this ordeal.
Most times I wish everyone were Republicans, although sometimes I wonder if thats the party I want to belong to. But never a Democrat. I've been wrong before.

I pray that she discovers the God that has created her and she will understand that disease is not from God but from lucifer. God wants us to live forever with him and his son Jesus. I say to heck with the Pope, she should go directly to the source!
Be not afrade of those who destroy the body but he who can destroy the sole.:jumping:
The 7 spirits of God? Is there more dieties? I do not know. The Bible says there is but they're controled by God himself. As I said, go to the source!!!!:clapping:

Prayer on the way.!

Blessings and sacrifice on the way (and no I ain't killin' nuthin').

[I dunno if christians talk to the ancestors, but it is good 'medecine,' to coin a Native word. Mebbe thats what 'guardian angels' are...?]

"Is there more dieties?"
-->Uh, there are for us polytheists...
