I have a trigger hammer and sear USA compliant "C" with a circle around it from a CIA and 8 Hesse floor plates and followers. How much are they worth? Is there a going price for them? Is there a going price for them.
Just need to know a starting price for selling them on GunBroker. I can't find any recent prices on this stuff. I don't even remember what I paid for it.

No real idea, for somebody wanting to build a compliant Cetme and needs the parts, priceless. The only thing comparible is the PTR91 hammer, trigger and sear. Which PTR is selling for $29.50 for the hammer and $29.50 for the trigger sear combo, of course these are Cetme parts.
Floorplates, I have no idea since we've discovered that Fal Inch floorplates can be easily made to work on HK mags and are cheap at less than $3 each.

I would say a good bit more than the PTR stuff since they are very hard to find.

A fairly recent (1/09) gunbroker auction for a Century CETME hammer/trigger/sear set closed at $102.

You might want to split them up. Probably get more in the long run.

I would start at 125.00 to 150.00 based on the fact that they are very hard to find. To be fair to yourself I would sell them on gunbroker and let them pay what they are willing to spend. My starting price is based on the prices of match trigger sets that people have no problem paying 125.00 and up.for. Good luck with your sale.

I'd try to sell on a forum or two first, auctions can be hit or miss.

Set the starting price too high, or put a reserve on it and sometimes you get no action (depends heavily on demand for the item - high demand this won't kill the auction, but it might reduce the final price).

Set the starting price nice and low and you may get less than you want for a lower demand item. The flip side is I've gotten 3 times what I expected for a popular item by starting it low - bidding tends to start early this way and you get more people interested.

Option 3 is to use a buy it now option - really no better than selling it on a forum like this one, and you have to pay the commission to the auction site.

I just tried to sell a tapering attachment on evilbay and had to end it early. Less than two days left it had no bids, but similar items just listed had bids already. I think the mistake was to put $50 starting - to cover ebay's usurious fee and the free shipping I was offering. I would have started it at $0.01 in spite of the free shipping if that stupid fee hadn't pissed me off. Oh well, lesson learned (DON'T use evilbay!). Going to go find a nice machining forum and sell it there.

Wow:eek:! At that price I wish I had time to build for sale the triggers I make for my rifles.
