Centerfire has M53 kits w/o barrels for $199!!!

Barrels can be added to the kits for $50-$150 more depending on condition.

Looks like no rear/receiver/cam section bits are included.

I bought two from Centerfire for 199$, the receiver shroud is cut well behind the cam section making for a much easier build, in fact it almost made the distance to the IMA MG42 receiver parts there were sold just several months ago. Chris....

Picked up two myself with the 'bright and shinny' barrels and bipods included. One shroud has about 1.5" behind the camming section (trunion) and the other was about 3" behind the camming section. Fronts were torched off and will need a bit of work. Both barrels were sparkly inside and indeed like new.

Overall kits were a great deal at $350 each with essentially new barrels.

Looks like Cold Steel Solutions and BRP have new rear receivers pieces for about $300. Looks like Wiselite may have sold some full rear rec sections through Apex but they are not listed now, only the shorter repair sections. RTG has some bits including the ratchet plate listed.

Anyone else know of other sources for receiver sections or MG42 bits that can be rewelded?
