Are there any plans to import these? Not like I'll ever be able to afford one...

Unfortunately, this gun in the configuration that you are looking at will never make it into this country. First, the barrel is way too short to qualify and if I remember right, Perro mentioned on the old forum that a lot of modification would have to be done to the receiver/FTG as these were full auto types. We can only dream.

I wonder where the huge advantage to this thing is when there is the rhineland arms 22 that you can get made up in that look almost too.

Sweet looking rifle in it's current configuration, but it'll look kindda funky with a 16" barrel should they decide to try and import them....then again, there'd be aftermarket parts to lessen the funky looks I'm sure. I'll have to try and call some of the folks I know at HK.

LOL...I have a couple 10/22s and they would make inexpensive battlerifles. ;)
