Found what might be a good deal on some M80 147gr PRVI Partisan bullets. 500 rounds for $95. Are these bullets worth having? I've seen some complaints about PRVI ammo, but I intend to load these myself. One other question. I know that commercial brass doesn't fair well in my PTR 91, learned this the hard way, but I've read that you can in fact hand load commercial brass with a reduced load. I'm thinking of using Winchester 748 ball powder in my loads, would remington or Winchester brass hold up?

What is the size of soviet 7,62 vs western. Is the problem going to be like the issues in the 7.62x39 and the need for a forceing cone in the mini thirty?

It's for .308, or so it says in the description.

Is that a local pickup or do you have to pay for shipping?

I checked Graf and Sons (http://www.grafs.com/fc/browse.php?q=&v=615&s=az&p=928)

and their 150 gr 308 bullets by Pri are $85.50 / 500, but I can not remember if they include shipping. Of cource those are currently listed as out of stock as well.

Fair enough price.

That's $95 with shipping. It's an auction on gunbroker actually. Now I need to find brass.

I like Privi .223 just fine. Have reloaded it a few times also with good results.
I haven't found just the bullets but I'd bet they are OK. Finding any of it in stock is difficult so I'd spend the money just to see.

I have not had any problems with those bullets but I wasn't loading tack drivers either but MJ11 didn't care for them in his range report listed here. Check his report out.
