i was on gunbroker looking at rpk's when i ran accross this.
i think i have one of those stuck back in one of my safes. i may even still have the original box for it..
now to find the mags for it also.
looks like i may have to do some safe opening this week to see if i do.


the starting bid on it is $2000, so i am going to watch it and see how it goes.

Poly Technologies RPK-223
Very, very rare – 1 of about 2 dozen imported in 1986. Original PRC-made RPK-type “Club Foot” stock with swing-away trapdoor. Unfired, supplied with one Polytech AKS-223 30-round box magazine. No original box or manuals. Original Poly Tech-supplied “Cutts” type compensator (only used for a very short time), later ones all went to the muzzle nut. Extremely rare. First to be sold on Gunbroker!!!

Neato, when you find it take some pictures! Is is a stamped or milled receiver?

i think it is stamped, but i don't remember. i have not found it yet. it is in there somewhere.:icon_biggrin:

i finally ran accross my polytech RPK-223. i took a picture of it but i guess i never posted it. it has a stamped receiver. still never fired it, NIB.

i never did find out how much the one on gun broker sold for.
