I know the Yugo UF has the gas block shutoff, but how can you tell a polish UF from a Romanian UF?
I bring this up because I thot a budy got a Yugo UF at the last gunshow, but it doesn't have the shutoff on the gas block.
Also, whic ones are pricier than the others?

Polish should have the 11 in a circle (Radom plant) on the front trunion on the left side(non cocking handle side)
I think Polish are a bit more in terms of price.

A real quick way is the stock. Romy uses a milled AK stock that locks at an angle, Polish uses an AKM stock that locks straight. See pics in the sticky AKs of the World. That should help with ID.

Steelcore, I did see some stright sided(no mag dimples) receivered century built underfolders out there, they must be takeing wasr-10 receivered rifles, removing the rear trunion and maybe using yugo or other underfolder, or maybe they are importing wasr-10 underfolders in low cap now too. Just was suprised to see the non dimpled receivers on any underfolder. They did come with the same front plastic furniture as the yugos have now too.
You might also run into a yugo without the bulged rpk style front trunion. I have one of the kits at home somewhere too.

soon I'll have my own Yugo to compare to his. Are there any Yugo UF moels without the gas block shutoff?

Mine's got it, has a stamped stock, and isn't a WASR-10 kit, or doesn't appear to be... Century receiver with mag well dimples too... Dunno.

By K98:
"they [Yugos UFs] are the only AK that has that [the folder button push to release the top cover] feature so it is kind of unusual"
My Buddy does NOT have a Yugo UF...
