here's my 1945 dated M44... beat up with little blueing, almost like it went through a war or something...
folded, unfolded, and a couple of the bayonet assembly folded and unfolded

Careful, as many of us will tell you, they're addictive... I've got six Mosin Nagants right now, and would probably have more if I had the money. They are great rifles, especially for the price, with lots of history, and lots of variants if you want to collect.

I think Mosins secretly multiply in dark gun safes. Every time I open mine I find another.:icon_biggrin:

lol.... if theres one thing i have consistently read on this site and others when it concerns mosins, its that everyone who ownes one loves them....... i'm really mulling this one over.... theyre not too expensive to buy yet, so i'm considering "taking the plunge"

Buy them now, I remember picking up a #1mkIII enfield for thirty nine bucks a long time ago(I ain't that old but it was about fifteen to twenty years ago), and these used to be under fifty if you bought more than one, thus they are going up and will be. Get them while you can.

be very careful, they have a habit of multiplying, before you know it you`ll have 5 or 6 or more

I just picked up a 38 last night. That makes six. 2, M44s, 3 91/30s and a 38.
It's not so much all the rifles as where to store all those cases of cheap soviet bloc ammo!
