ok i am back. or shall i say back in the market for a Cetme '. Sold my AR to help pay some bills and now i need a new MBR. So locally here on another forum here in GA i have somebody selling a Cetme made by Century that is the sporter model(no flash hider) and he is asking $500 it has .006 bolt gap and he says it fires and cycles smooth. What do you all think i should do? i offered $420 hoping he will bite. Figuring i would have to put some $$ to get it where i want it. Please chime in i would like to here your comments. Should i go $500?

A new Cetme from JG Sales in $595.00 and it will have the flash hider already installed, plus if the bolt gap is bad or it fails to work correctly you do have the option of sending it to Century for warranty repair. If you can get it for $420, it would probably be worth it.

Somebody will most likely give what he asked if you don't but it's worth a try. you just cannot beat battle iron!

hey i look at it on the bright side i traded my old cetme for the ar straight across the board and then got $1200 for the ar now i need a mbr but miss my cetme. i figure if i can get it on the cheap i will put some $$ in it and have a very nice weapon. For the record i am ex military and if i had a choice i would choose a .308 any day over the 5.56mm.even thou the load is heavier.
