I posted this over at surplusrifle:

I have a rifle I recently got that the seller grossly misrepresented. It looks nice but something is stuck in the chamber, weld or part of a cartridge, lead, i dont know really what it is. I have no tools to remove it. I think if you took the barrel off it would be an easy fix. I just cant get to it and have almost no tools. I tried pushing on it with a screw driver but it didnt budge. Its only on one side of the chamber and isnt very thick. It also has VERY heavy pitting under the wood in about 4 or 5 spots. with some light rust that should come off with steel wool and some light-medium pitting. It looks pretty nice except for under the wood. The bore is probably VG+ and shines. missing the bolt but any 98 type mauser bolt, bent or stait should work. I beleive this rifle was originally german because if you look closely their are ground off markings and on the receiver there is a very very week 30's date that was buffed off i believe and remarked by the chinese or for the chinese. Note the backwards swastica. This is the best pic of the crest i can get, it looks better in person. Stock is really nice though, no cracks or problems. just a few dents and dings. Looks to me like walnut and has tiger stripping that would show up nice if the wood was cleaned. Looks original and not sanded.

Would like to trade this for something else, mosin parts, something thats C&R eligible, mags etc. This will be sold/traded as is. Im not expecting this to be worth much and I ask you dont expect this to be an Excellent unissued never fired rifle thats going to shoot 1 inch groups at 600 yards. i know some of you here would expect that. i have been as honest as i can about this rifle. I will post a price after i let this sit for trade a while.

I like mosins, mausers, pistols, bolt guns etc.
I could use AK, G3, mags
mosin bolts and screws for holding the magazine in

Actually yours looks pretty good (stock wise) as far as most of the Chinese Mausers I've been hearing of recently. These guns had a ruff life from what I've seen. Can you take a pic of the object stuck in the chamber?

i can try, it looks like a thin piece of lead If i had experience and new how to take the receiver off the barrel it would be super easy to fix or had some tool to get into the chamber, i have a screwdriver and thats about it, a dremel but no flex attachement. Its just super hard to find a tool to fit in there.

left side of chamber, you see its not really big, screwdriver scratched dented whatever it is so its not super hard anyways
