Hey everyone AIM has the new C93 rifles for $799 with 2 mags and 1 bayonet for the same price I paid to J&G Sales for the rifle with just 1 mag. Better get one while they have them, they go fast.

Dang, thats $200 more that what theyre supposed to retail for. Think I'll hold off a lil more and wait till they call me for my ordered one.
How do these things shoot/ function?

I've not tested mine yet, but my bolt gap measured .013 which seems good from what I've read. I hope to shoot mine this weekend.

I would find an Cetme for 400 or 500 dollars used. Get it working properly.
Put a wide forearm on it. A folding Stock. A bayo lug. And cut of the Cetme
sight and put a HK sight on it. Then, put a HK or Cetme muzzle brake on it.
That's how I could spend 7 or 8 bills.

STAZIO , Then you end up with a CETMESTEIN. Thats ok with me , I have one and it ROCKS.

What about a source for HK 93 BARRELs ???? Buy a kit and build a 93, but all of the kits have DEMILLED barrrels. What about building it as a 762x39 and just use an AK barrel and bolt . TT are you getting this?

Rim Country Mfg is making barrels for $175. Here's the delimma: $350 for a kit, $250 for a receiver, $175 for a barrel= $775. Then you need 5 more compliance parts so that's another $100 or $200. Get's pretty pricey. I still think these things will be just like the Galils. They started out at $800 and you couldn't find one but once they saturated that market they dropped down to $599 and seems like everyone has them in stock. Wait a few months and the price will come down.

The price came down on the Golani's when word started getting around that some, at least, were typical Century monkey production.
I would consider selling my Cetme and buying a 93, since ammo is more affordable.

I wish it was that easy, but the real problem is the grooves in the chamber. You gotta have the grooves or it won't function.

I would venture to guess, given the current climate regarding firearms, CAI will sell these out at $799.
HK products (clones or otherwise) have a certain allure, and .223/5.56 is one of the most common calibers.
Vectors used to fetch $1500. $800 is a good deal if the reviews hold up. It would appear CAI outsourced the production to someone that knows what they are doing.
YMMV.
The real Q is how long mag supply holds up once these are more out in the open market. Glad I bought already!
Waiting for mine to arrive.
