The build tutorial left something out

I follwed the turorial above in the faq. sticky, it didnt mention anything about making sure the trunion goes in far enought so the tab on the trunion goes in to the inserted mag. I was reading a different tutorial on another web sight and said to trim the rails back until the trunion goes in to the inserted mag. now mine is welded in and it will pull straight down with the release pushed in. is this going to be a problem? the mag seems to fit good and tight right up to the stops on the mag. im just concerned because the other tutorial said make sure if you pull straight down on the mag with the release in, it should not pull out. you should have to angle it forward to pull it out.

Mine pulls out straight down every time, and will drop free completely with the push of the button with no rotating whatsoever, and Ive had zero problems from day 1 with G3 mags... maybe this issue you speak of is why mine doesnt like Cetme mags, but it seems a little odd.

but I dont have to rotate mags in like on the AK or M14... I just throw em in and slap em tight.works every time.

I have built a G3 on a HK contract built receiver with the trunion factory installed, and it also will drop the mag without rotating it.
