Hey guys. I'm obviously new here. I found you searching around for info on building a CETME .308, my next planned project. I have built some AK's and now am looking to do something a little more intensive. I've been looking around in the threads and some of you guys are inspiring me to work on a CETME kit.

I look forward to learning some tricks from you guys as well as avoiding some pitfalls. I appreciate all of your info to help newbies out in these areas.

Hawaii gun laws aren't as strict as California yet we often get placed in the same bracket for whatever reason.

For the most part the major laws are...

1.) No Class III Destructive Devices (includes short barrel rifles and shotguns.)
2.) No Assault Pistols (Mac-10, AK and AR pistols, short barrel Uzi etc)
3.) No handgun magazines in excess of 10 rounds

I just noticed we don't have a Regional/Local section for us. :(
