I lived in Ft. Wayne for a year & a half - they give you the EXTRA once over if you're from there. http://www.militaryfirearm.com/Forum/images/icons/icon12.gif

Thanks to all for the welcome! A bit about me: Retired USMC (1960-1983), originally from the west (left) coast, live in Indianapolis, of a VERY conservative nature (a bit to the right of Atilla the Hun), not a believer in the 5.56 mm family (although I have a couple) - grew up on M-1's and m14's and a veteran of the Southeast Asian War Games (1965, 1967/68 and 1972).

Good to have you. Ft. Wayne was always one of my favorite places to visit when I was traveling on business. Also, one of my all-time favorite suppliers is in Ft. Wayne...a company called 80/20 which is run by Don Wood and his family.
My service experience also included "real" weapons like the Garand and the M-14. I too own a couple of pop guns but there is no comparison.

There's a few of us here, maybe 1/2 dozen. Tac, are you in Fishers or Geist area? I'm also currently in NE Indy.
I'm thinking of setting up the 2009 Midwest shoot (did one last year) for June 20th, so I'll keep you fols posted.
r3126, my uncle was a pilot in said games, did 'prewar recon' and then stayed for the fun. He loved the Thunderchief most of all.
