M4gery ?

Alright, exactly what differentiates an M4 from an M4gery? Would the REAL M4 please stand up? What is a real M4 and what is not? I think I know, but I wanna hear from those of you with more experience than me.

A real M-4 would be select fire and have a 14.5 inch barrel. A civilian M-4 has a 16 inch barrel and is semi auto only.

I did up a semi M4 with a DPMS upper and Rock River Lower

A real M4 would be made by COLT and have the 3 round burst option

and be marked M4, US Property

Most thankful jedi masters. I thought Colt figured in there somewhere but forgot about the burst and bbl length.
