I found this site looking for brass and took the plunge on 300 pieces. I just got them today and looked through them. They have been tumbled 98% clean with a few that needed a scotchbrite rub to finish it. Very nice 2007-2009 WCC marked cases. Very few culls and as a matter of fact the culls are all fired from some kind of roller locked rifle, i.e. CETME, HK, PTR, etc. These looked fair but a couple had FTE marks and dents that I'll set aside for now. $58.00 for the lot. This will do me for a while on the 7.62 reload front! BTW, as to the culls, he adds extra pieces so I still have at least 300 good ones!

He's in Roundrock, TX.

Are they deprimed and have the pockets swaged?

Not deprimed. They have the obvious swage ring. I ran them through the resizing die and used my deburring tool on a couple to start. Curious thing is I don't need to. The primer goes in like normal without any work. Having a bunch of Federal .223 a while back I know what it is to remove the swage so this has me stumped.

Sometimes the swaging is done light and it varies from lot to lot and arsenal to arsenal. I have had some do the same thing, usually you will find that is is related to specific lots or years. I've also encountered some that the flash hole was undersized a little and got the decapping pin stuck in the case. Different brands and lots of primers sometimes make the difference also, some are a little heavier cup and some are butter edged... You lucked out and got the right combination going for you this time...

Good news. These are beautiful. Looks like about 10% from an HK type weapon. I loaded 50 last night with the hunting load that worked well earlier. I see Midway has FMJ 150g in stock for a change. @100 bucks for 500. Any better FMJ deals?

Gunbroker always has some good deals on 150fmj bullets. Recently seen some on there for 79.00 per 500. Auction Arms also is worth a look.
