Blackthorn/Vulcan/HESSE has some modular handguards for $80... Keep in mind that this IS Hesse, and they have a bad reputation, but for someone really wanting the tactiCOOL Cetme or HK, its a cheap alternative to the ones at Tapco and elsewhere that run $150ish...

Ive never used this company, but there are a few who have been relatively pleased with what they got... basically you get what you pay for, which is good cheap working parts... YMMV, but worth a look as some guys want this product but cant afford 150.

Here's the same product at Tapco:

p.s. If anyone has used this company, please post some reviews... Im trying to get a good idea of what kind of serive and products are coming out of there as their prices are ALMOST too good to pass up. Gracias.

Hey guys,

Ive got one of these, Not sure which maker thou, got it second hand thru a gunshop in CO. However, I will say that if your looking for a drop in, this is NOT a good option. Ive had to do signifigant fitting and cutting on mine to get it to fit a century CETME. The upper edges were too high and impacted and wore against the cocking tube, as well as the rear lip being a bit off as well. Im about to put a fresh coat of paint on mine after all the sanding etc, screwed the finish.

Just a heads up guys,

Does yours have any markings on it Enigma? i think Tapco marks theirs "tapco usa" on all their products.

maybe that one you have is the one from Hesse, and thats why its so cheap?

Nope, no markings I was ever able to make. Ive had it for around a year id guess at this point. It also doesnt have the dip along the left side that I see in pics of some of the tapco ones.

I just ordered some ar parts from them. The service was fast and professional. No complaints here. I am looking for another ar lower locally to put one of their kits on just to see how it fares.

80bux is a good deal for a CETME cheesegrater. ;)
