View Full Version : A sub fourm for optics?
Could be a good place to talk scopes and accessories. Tuning and set up on the old scopes and bracket and basses are also good topics.

Nice collection! Love the leather caps too. I've got a couple old Weavers, one a project scope and one that I fixed. Got to find or make some of those caps if I get the project one back together.
I havn't made any caps for a few years but it's not hard. The tough bit is finding the correct grade of leather. When I find it thin enough it's to soft and when it's stiff enough it's to thick. I have some picrtures of the gear it takes and a few shots of some older covers I made ten years ago. I also have some other interesting scopes I did not post.
