Here is a group shot of us before the 4th of July parade in Round Top, Tx
I'm on the right in the USMC uniform and helmet helping my grandson hold up my Bazooka,
my dad next to me in the doughboy helmet and my brother in the M1 helmet in the middle.
We did it with a local Marine Corps League group. Our command car is behind us. It won 3rd place. This is like the town's 139th 4th of July parade. My daugter was with us but taking the picture!

We drove all 4 vehicles (2 WWII Jeeps, the 41 1/2 Ton Command Car and a 52 M38-A1
and M-100 trailer) about 30 miles there and back from my brothers' place in Fayettville. Fun!

Great job you guys did, small towns need more parades like that.. Is that a White Comand Car?

Dodge. WC-7. They called it a Command Reconissance Car. Based on the Power Wagon

I know White built the halftack and the armored recon car, but didn't they made command cars.

HEY! turmanator, that looks like a lot fof fun. i am thinking about buying a duce & half to mess around with, but i need a place to store it. ( wife won't let me park it in the drive way.)

find me 3 or 4 acres of land around there so i can bring out some of my toys and play.

needs to be where i can put up a large storage building (30' x 60' or 40' x 80') and park a couple of travel trailers when i am there. so i don't need any restricted land.

thanks
ron

His place is right near the Fayetteville Resevoir, just to the east of it.

Looks like it was a lot of fun. I always love seeing old steel rolling down the road!
