Looks like Ebay is running amuck, shutting the barn door.

Just another reason to get rid of paypal, wonder how much they spend to kick off customers, does'nt make sense to me. Oh well, I guess that's what happens when you have too much money. I've been wanting get rid of them, that will be a good reason too.

I've used them as a necessary evil on a lot of gun related purchases. I never use "gun" words when using PP though.

I guess if Paypal doesn't want our money we need to use something else. Maybe I'll open a bidpay account....is bidpay gun friendly?

I have a gearpay account, but nobody seems to use it.

Paypay did not look at the transaction records, they went and searched the gun forums for "paypal (no gun words)" and suchlike...

They then cross referenced the forum information with their records and if they matched, :neener: :hammered: and your gaypal account got :nuked:

Well every once in awhile the media does something bashing ebay for allowing something gun related to sell. Ebay owns paypal. I would like to know how so many channels and show end up showing at the same time pretty much the same thing bashing ebay for having a gun. Reminds me of how often how I look up how something is being written about in another newspaper and in newspaper after newspaper same article. How about regulating that. Theres is suppossed to be competetion in the market. Limits on who owns what media outlets in which markets. Well someones found a loop hole that needs to be closed. Also Paypal is acting like a monopoly. It can be made into little competitive paypals. Ebay to. With competetion its harder for one group to control everything.

I use ebay cause gunbroker is $$ on the non regulated stuff. I sell brass and my school books on ebay as well. And I've used Paypal for about a year now. I try to never use it for a transactiont that they might not like down the road. So good ole money orders do the trick. I just hate the fact the fee's are almost 10% of what sell price is. :icon_cry:

I never trusted them...they're not FDIC insured (like banks and actual financial institutions), thus they can take your money and make it theirs.

Very true...thats why its a good point to only have a few bucks in there at any given time.

Paypal did the same crap after Columbine.

Politely....."F" them!

I wouldn't use Paypal anyway. I never have. They collect information on buyers and sell it off to who ever.

They might even be the government wolf in sheeps clothing!
