Well on May 29th we left for Tulsa , Ok to go visit my Girlfriends Family in the small town Coweta for 2 weeks. Being from Connecticut ive never seen the vast flat plains and the wild sage brush while her Dad and I went out west to shoot Dogs. We went all the way out to Bryans Corner and it just amazes me how beautiful the west is. On our way to and from there i got to see the Mace's and we drove out while the sun was setting and just made a incredible image. I love the southern people down there we went to quite abit of places and drove up to Bass Pro in Springfield,MO. Had a big Crawdad boil at some realitves, and we went cat fishing at Gibson Lake. also i had to go visit some Gun shops to see what good fun guns you guys sold, I couldnt believe the AK's, Uzi's, Thompsons, and etc , I bought some bullet molds and flew them back with me. I cant wait to go back there and visit for longer. I know we dont want to live in CT for ever so OKlahoma is a possiblilty in the future.

Do you know the difference between a Yankee and a damn Yankee? A Yankee comes to visit and a damn Yankee STAYS! :icon_biggrin:
Just joking with ya. I like to see parts of the US I've never seen before. I even want to visit NYC and buy myself a counterfeit Rolex watch off a street vendor. If you need directions for making sweet tea, you'll get several responses here. Glad you had a good time.

I guess I am gonna have to argue the Rancid comment . I live in New Hampshire , Leave my keys in my car, dont feel threatened most days . I like it fine here . Good hunting , good people, Nice farms all around me . But I f I want Rancid its only 30 minutes to the city ! Ha Ha

I've always wanted to hunt dogs. I've been to North Texas, and seen some towns, but never had the oppertunity. Sounds like fun.

Hunting P Dogs.
It's like the "Whack a Mole" game you could play at the arcade back in the day. Except with a well placed shot. In Colorado, around where I grew up, they got anal about it after it became public we also had the endangered Black Footed Ferret. It doesn't get much better than target practice that runs fast and pops up unexpectedly. Now i miss home. Some good P dogs in Wyoming as well.

And for us that day is next Friday!
The closing is at 9:30 in the morning and we start the drive to West Virginia as soon as it's done.
After living here for 20+ yeras I can't wait to be a resident of a free state again. New England has it's charms butI guess you can say the same for East germany or Bulgaria.
