Met with forum member Hoot!

He was on his way to the east coast to see some family, and he stopped by last night on his way out. Nice guy! We shot the shite :g3: for a while, and then I put him up on my couch.

I was glad to give a bit of hospitality to a road-weary traveller, and told him to stop by on his way back thru (I think his total drive time is something like 20-25hrs...noone should do that in one run!)

I got to show off sume of my 'cool' stuff: old blades, Great Grandad's WWI ruck, some chainmail I made, etc. :icon_cool:

Anyhow, well wishes to Hoot on his continuing journey to seel the relatives, and I hope to see him next week on his return journey.

And this is why I love this board...like one big family! :) I haven't had the pleasure of meeting Hoot yet (and I live very close-must remedy that soon) but I have had some dealings with him and a stand up guy he is! Good on you Steely for offering up some hospitality!
