View Full Version : just wanted to share what was done for a local vet

we have a long time customer at our shop, Sheldon Hall.a great guy, lives just across the street from our new shop we moved to 2 years ago.i found out about the time we moved to the new shop he was a WWII fighter pilot.
i also knew he was close to 90 years old, but you could still find him mowing his 2 acre lot on an old tractor in the hot summer heat, and almost never accepts a ride back to the house when he drops of his car.i know its only a few hundred yards but when its raining or below freezing he still argues about a ride.
anyhow, now that you have a little background as to the kind of person he is, i was pleased to see this on the local newspaper website the other day.

I like these guys, I did a tree for a neighbor down the street and we started talking and I found out he was a P-38 lightning pilot in WW II. He showed me pics of his plane with him next to it and his wifes name as nose art on it...
