Going to have to be more specific. SoftWARE like computers? Soft WEAR like clothing, tacticool gear?

This is what I use. Best I've found. I used to use my own excel based program but I switched to this when I saw it at the shot show.

The softWARE I use for this is excel and word. Have a column for manufacturer, model, SN, caliber, and action. Separated by rifles, pistols, shotguns. I also have a tracker for each caliber of ammunition that calculates the total rounds. I use excel during builds to track each part, how much they cost, and mark an x when I have the parts on hand, this tracker also totals cost.

I have a word .doc similar to the first one I described that has a picture of the gun, where I got it, SN, how much I paid and all accessories/mods that have been done. Useful in case they get stolen I have a record of every part.

This is what I have. I keep a copy in a "flash" drive seperate fom my computer. As if they have stones big enough to steal the guns, thay may take my computer also.

I've been using Gun Tracker but a friend uses the GunSafe system and is happy with it. He claims it's easier to use than my system.

but since gettinng the Garand thru the CMP and looking at their tracking sheet, I may expand the tables I made to include other notes.

GunSafe looks sweet, and the price is even better. I need no plunder and pillage the high seas for this treasure!

I just loaded everything up on Gun Safe and I am pretty impressed, like 19Charlie 84 said you can't beat the price.

Thanks!
