He called it an M, most call the monte stock ones the D. I have an M with the butthole stock, and need/want/require/must have one with the standard stock....
I will be happy to just find a decent condition regular stock and stick the butthole in the closet. Just not comfortable to me to shoot, and if I can't shoot it, I don't want it.
I have two guns that I haven't and probably won't shoot. One is a milled MAK90 I got from Capt. Ron that is new in box and has only been test fired AFAIK, and the other is the Polish UF I built from a new kit. I have my dad's screw build Polish to shoot when the need strikes me.

Texlurch, actually I think I read and its very fuzzy what is what as d/m and such, that the actually there were some made with military stocks, then the two variants with civilian stocks, I got lucky and got one of each of the latter two, but I have seen photos of them with bayonets and military stocks, and they look nice for sure. I picked up a extra stock just in case I need one by scouring gun stores when I stop in, they happened to have a extra montie carlo stock sitting in the corrner for a jackson with the metal. I would love to pick up a extra trigger group as they say the mag latch assembly is some what suspect and can break. I have never seen it but you never know.
