i am needing some brass catchers for my g3 and ar-15's, anyone know of any good ones? My brass keeps getting thrown in 4 ft tall grass and i lose 50 percent of good reloadable military brass Ive tried setting up an empty box or somthing in the way of the brass but i still miss alot of it

I have one of the cheap UTG ones for my flat-top AR. It works, but moves around some. It only uses one attachment point, a velcro strap at the base of the forearm. About half of my brass goes inside, some falls onto the bench and a few stovepipe in the ejection port. Still better than chasing down brass, though.
Their brass catchers for the carry-handle AR's look a little better. They clamp onto the handle and look a bit more stable.

No recommendations on other brands or anything for the G3.

I've never used them personally, but I've heard nothing but good reviews about the E&L catchers in the link Hunter provided. From what I understand, they cause fewer malfunctions than any other brand.

I had an E&L, worked like a charm. Found myself not using it as much, so sold it to Sswee. To my knowledge, he was happy with it. Easy to modify with a gentle finetooth saw for a scope mount, and E&L were a breeze to order from.

:rockon:never had any luck with the brass catchers, but if you are on a bench you can lay a hand towel or dish cloth, not anything of the wifes, over the port and they will drop right on the bench beside your weapon. :2pistol:

even with a port buffer my brass is still going 20 or more feet away
