Very nice pistol. It brings back memories, my girlfriend's mom had one in 22 rimfire.

I have the .32 ACP version. Mine is very ammo sensitive. Don't take it apart unless you have first rate instructions and patience. I've heard from a couple of gunsmiths they are a real pain to get back together.

They are fun to shoot, and accurate. Wood grips can be found occasionly at gun shows. Mags are expensive if you can find them. Yours looks to be in great condition, congrats.

I have a Stoeger .22 Luger too! Paid $175 (too much I believe) for this cast frame plinker; it does shoot reasonably well - very complicated mechanism from what I read though...

Back when I wqas a teen, I bought a full sized plastic model replica of a Luger. All of the parts were cast from plastic, but the full mechanism was there, and I was astounded on how complex the trigger mechanics were. I had thought of getting a Luger when I grew up, but after that, I did not want one any more.

The coolness factor trumps the trigger system. None of the people I know with Lugers have had any trigger problems.

Too cool! I've always wanted a Luger. Both of yours look very nice, I've never even seen one that's not a 9mm Parabellum model in person.
