SAVAGE model 12 in 243

For sale is my sons Savage in 243, is in great like new condition, we have added lots of goodies like: Sniper Stock with internal leveler and aluminum beding, Harris bipods, base rings and a 8-32x50 Scope with luminated Mil Dot recticle, Butler Creek flip up covers. It also has the accutriger ajusted to approximate 2.5 pounds, very crisp and smooth.
This rifle is Sweet and in perfect working order, but my son has outgrowned it and moved out, and does not use it anymore.
Asking price is $750.00+ shipping and insurance, USPM only!

I beleive twist rate 1-9 and we shot (my son and I) less than 100 rounds,
I bought this rifle used in like new condition for my son, and added all of the accesories mentioned on the original post!

I have a black savage synthetic stock new unused that will fit it, its from another savage I own thats never been fired.
If you want that stock let me know, I will take off from my other Savage and intall it on the 243!

Here are the pics of the Savage Stock.
It is like brand new its never been fired, I took it off and replaced it with a sniper stock and put it away just in case I wanted to change it back.

This Stock belongs to another Savage 308 that I owned. Just want to be clear on that!
But I would change it if you wanted.

It is A Savage Barrel and is a Model 12 and I havent changed anything but the stock and added Harris bipods and the scope.
So the recoil lug must be stock! I got this gun used and added all the stuff I mentioned on the original post.

It is in Great Shape!

Is that a bull barrel on it? The pictures make it look like it is, so I had been assuming it was, but I can't find the exact model of it on Savage's website.

So what's the profile of the barrel and what length is it? Or if you have the exact model number designation, that'd be great too. I'm showing it to a few of my friends because I think its a good deal. All the info you can give me will help me sell the idea to them.

WhenI get home tonight Iwill measure the barrel, the rest of the questions I can't answer you cause I bought the gun used but it does seem like a bull barrel to me.

It shoots flat that i know, my 12 year old son its deadly with that gun has shot in the same hole at 100 yards with it.

I have bought and sold lots of Guns but I have never shipped one, all my sales have been FTF, so if you got any suggestions regarding shipping since you are paying for it let me know.
I have been told that UPS is the only one that ships guns when your not an FFL.
