Weekend Gunshow

Just walked through the semi-annual gunshow in the Bootheel of Missouri. Pretty much the same as everwhere else.....but CMMG was running "Bin Guns" Ar-15 / M-4 style. 16 inch barrel, flat top, etc. for $599. I didn't think that was bad considering. Another vendor was running $999 on a CMMG stamped reciever guns.
Lots of Black Rifle stuff...optics, stocks, lights and lasers. Nothing you can't usually purchase online at considerable savings even with shipping. Ammo was through the roof...nothing new.:thumbup:

If this is the show in Cape, I was there Saturday morning. Lots more stuff than I have seen in the past. Not much junk, mostly guns and accessories. I ran into several people I know, both in front of the tables and behind.

I came away with a quad rail and tach light for my Armalite. Paid under what they would have cost online. Saw lots of other stuff I wanted but most was way over priced. BTW, I had run out of funds also. :icon_neutral:

On the way out the door I saw an ammo pouch, one of those that holds 3 AR mags and has grenade pouches on the sides. Priced at $46.00 but I noticed it had 3 mags included. I did not really want the mags so I asked if he had any more of the pouches without the mags. He said he needed to pay for the tables and offered the pouch with mags for $25.00.

I now have 3 more mags and a pouch to carry them in, but no pouch for the mags I already have. :rolleyes:

I think he means receivers stamps with the CMMG logo.

I will vouch for the trash can AR's they sell. I bought one a couple of years ago and it has run without a problem. If you are so inclined, I'd suggesting to go for it.

Wish they would bring them to Tulsa, but alas being out of state when the show up here, they don't sell firearms. Guess I could order one if I wanted, but now you guys here have me building my own AR's

Some were what they called Mismatched...color, black upper and lgrey lower. Others had a nick on the finish. Not bad for the price I thought. I've already got two AR's already...didn't think it wise to get a third right now. Been looking for an M-1 Carbine instead.

I think they said they were going to be at the Columbia ,Mo. Gun Show next.:thumbup:
