Got and email from AIM about their modified to Jungle Carbine, Ishy2As. Looks pretty good from the pic. Dammit, I just ordered a Carbine from CMP and got another SKS.

I seen those too. Though not a real Jungle carbine, they look cool and are in .308 too. The only bummer is since they are modified they are no longer C&R.

Did you all notice that they would sell you battlepacks of sa ammo if you bought a rifle. Strange that the ammo's not listed anywhere else on their site. Waiting for the price to go up? Nah! What was I thinking.

I dig it when something new comes out. However, I'm not sure I can really find anything incredibly cool about this one.

1. Indian Enfield..

2. CAI hack job into the "jungle carbine"...

3. Non-C&R....

4. Repaired stocks...

5. Black paint....

6. $230 plus shipping and FFL fees.....

After due consideration, good sense prevailed, and I think Longhorn is right. Premium cost for a less than premium rifle. I need another AK more anyway!
