Here's the skinny. On another one of my gun boards I posted up in the classifieds that I wanted to trade some of my guns, and that I was primarily interested in an AR, but would entertain all offers.
Well one of the offers is for a PTR91, match grade barrel, Bill Springfield trigger, black stock and OD stock, bipod, scope mount, bayo lug, 8 mags. I would really like to get this gun, but I already have a Cetme that's a damn good shooter. I'm sure the PTR will be more accurate...he claims 1.5" @ 100 yards, where as my Cetme might be 3-4" at 100.
I can't decide if I want to grab up the PTR, then trade my cetme for an AR...or just hold out for an AR.
Decisions, decisions.

If it was me, I'd find a way to keep them all.

Having owned all three, I lean towards keeping the CETME and maybe building an AR if you want a 5.56 assault rifle for your arsenal. Depending upon when the PTR was built it may or may not be an upgrade over your CETME. The newer built PTRs have made many of us less than happy about our investments.

Flesh Thorn has a good point. The newer PTR's seem to be very, very picky on what ammo you feed it.
If you're concerned about your CETME's accuracy you could always do a Bill Springfield trigger job to it as well.

Already did Turbo's trigger and I'm very pleased with it.
I think I'm going to go ahead and get the PTR...if it's not worth it to me I'll just trade it or sell it away. Hell...I might just keep both of them...I mean...you can't go to a range without seeing 1/2 the stalls filled with AR's...very rarely do you see a cetme/ptr91/g3 though. Can't beat the $1 mags either. :)
