I've been in the market for a sling recently and on a tight budget. I really wanted a 3 pt. tactical sling and I wanted one that was designed for HK/CETME rifles. After searching for a while I found this website:
http://rts-manufacturing.com/page3.html
The only place to buy the HK slings they make is on AIM and they wanted $30 for the sling, which was a little above I wanted to pay. I was about to get it anyway because I really liked the sling, but then I added it to my cart and the shipping charge was almost $10. Outrageous, needless to say.
So, I emailed JR at RTS and asked if there was anywhere else I could get a sling. He told me that I could buy directly from him for $20/sling + $4.05 priority mail shipping. It's nice to see someone charge the actual shipping cost.:grin2:
I sent him a money order and the same day he got the money order he shipped the sling to me. I received it a few days ago and I am very pleased. All slides are metal. The only plastic piece on the sling is the quick release buckle.
This sling, imo, is very hard to beat for the price and JR at RTS was great to deal with.
