Very nice. Gonna do any engraving? It would be hard not to engrave everything if one had their own engraver.

Yeah but I haven't decided what yet....And I have to get in line with everybody else:eek: That is what I'm doing today, getting caught up. the laser is lasering as we speak.... My other half had a contract job to do and that gave me the time to put this rifle together. Now I'm trying to get back on track with my stuff. She has another job Monday that will kick me out of the way again, so I have planned to build the other lower I bought. It will be a reglar old m4gery.

That's the kind of nice thing about putting together AR's. If you don't get into alot of whistles and bells, you can put one together in a couple of hours. It's a good way to get youngsters introduced too, there's always more satisfaction out of shooting something you put together yourself. My daughter told me yesterday that she wants a pink rifle. Thinking about having her go out in the shop and helping her with putting together a Romy G kit I have had laying around, and then doing it up in pink...

Brother, we are having some R&D work done for a new laser cavity. Ours is gold-plated inside to really pump the crystals with light. Here's the good news: The contractors do work for the military. They just proofed some night sniper scopes for the .300. 10K rounds X 3weapons!! Plus they do laser range finding work! Best news is it is all done near Myrtle Beach, SC and we have to go for a "look see". Christmas may indeed come early this year.

good project. looks good.

collecting/buying parts for guns is becoming the new quest in gun building.

not to long ago you could just order what parts you needed and then put it together. now it has been hunting time for parts.

i like a challenge.........:icon_biggrin:
