I recently 'inherited' (sory for bad english) a very old CETME which has the numbers : F.A. CETME A-1693 on it
the problem that i have now is that it came without a mag, so does anybody know what type of mag would fit on this? i also live in Belgium, so Im not even sure if it is allowed to import those things
thx on forehand

A G3 / HK91 magazine will work fine. There are also Cetme mags that were made for the rifle.

:welcome: to the forums :)

Possibly CETME Model A.....Very rare.

he lives in belgium

it is most likely a real full auto cetme modelo A1 or A2

the FA stands for fuerzas armadas (or armed forces)

magazines are impossible to find for this gun cause this gun is basically a prototype gun and was never really issued in large numbers

you can see in the photos below that the magazines are way different than the other models

see my WTS rare cetme manuals for the correct manuals for your gun

i also have a spare bolt head for your gun i would part with, and probably even a locking piece.

it really looks like that model A yes but i just found out something.....
this weapon, as all ''war'weapons are demilitarised, meaning they messed with it, like they welded the barrel, so it doesnt function anymore, except for the bolt movement (owning one legally is almost impossible here)
the trigger has 3 'options' and when i operate the bolt and let it move forward on one of the trigger stands (while trigger pressed offcourse) it auto-fires which i suppose means its fully automatic, or correct word would be WAS fully automatic :(

makes me sad messing up weapons like that

that manual? where can i find it? maybe it tells me how to change the barrel lol :)
