The Turmanator graciously invited my son and I to participate in the Wings Over Houston Airshow this weekend. What a BLAST we had. Thanks Turmanator!!!! I can't remember whenIi've had this much fun. Also went squirrel hunting Saturday.

Whats with the smoke at the air show? Did they have some incindiary simulations?

They would do that at Cherry Point to demostrate the Marines in the Attack.
F-18s, AV-8Bs and Cobras making simulated strafing/firing runs with the CH-46 SeaMagnet dropping Marines in the foreground.

It was a re-enactment of Tora Tora Tora, Japanese attack on Pearl Harbor. Basically bags of aviation fuel detonated.
