HK 71 2492

Remington Cor-Loc 150 grn
2712 , 2736 , 2694

20 shots was fired the average for the 20 rounds fired is 2538 fps.

i always guessed the rifle was shooting around 25 to 2600 fps.

after replacing several parts on this rifle and it specs out fine and shoots anything you feed it , but the rear sight is welded on crooked and it groups to the left 4 to 10 inches i will be addressing that issue soon , going to mount a aimpoint clone and see how it does .

right now atleast it matches my 4 wheeler even if i cant hit a paper plate @ 100

the tape overs are off hand @ 50 yds

I recall a post from the old CETME group where you drift the pin out retaining the rear sight and take material off it and shim the sight with thin washers to line it up. Perhaps cutting one of the welds(front or rear) from the sight would allow you tweak it the direction it needs to go. That way you only need to redo one weld.

I had to do what bataanboy said about grinding a little off of the rear sight and use a washer. I got lucky and didn't mess up & take too much off. It is really hard to get it back on if you do!!

here's a pic of the red dot ,, it made a huge improvement , golfball size groups at 25 off hand and at 50 yds busting pepsi bottles filled with water , i was surprised to see the Cetme shoot that good of groups .

What make of scope is that?

What's the little fuzzy thing just behind the ejection port?

Hello,

MicroPilot

the red dot is a aimpoint clone i bought on Ebay $36.00 the felt is some stuff i bought at Walmart for kitchen chairs works great for a port buffer my cases has no dings or marks on them now .

on the red dot sight it sits perfect when you bring the rifle up to your cheek , you dont have to lower your head against the stock like shooting irons sights and your head is level not to high where you need to have a stock comb , perfect . ive fired 100 rounds through the red dot now and i think it's a big improvement over iron sights you can shoot with both eye's open and find your target very quick with it .
