some may have seen this project before.just a little farther along.4130 tubing and alot of filing. today the walnut started to come to shape. still many miles to go.next the forearm wood and pistol grip.

Whats the bolt carrier/bolt riding on?

the large tube is 1 5/8 4130 small tube is 5/8 4130 the mag well is 4130 sheet stock all .o58 or .059 wall.the lower rea is also 4130 sheet stock,rails are 3/8 4130 square stock plug welded in. the rear of the rails for the buttstock will be salvaged rail sections welded in. the 3/8 stock has been profiled to the same shape as the stock rails.
