It looks like some 762x54R (see the big cartridges?) version of an RPK, definitely a soviet manufacture...

Looks like a standard PKM to me, which is 7.62x54r. Not a RPK or RPD.

Looks like an awesome squad weapon. I wonder if they make that in a sporting semi-auto..or sell parts kits in the US....anyone? anyone? :)

Wasn't some one makeing a semi auto of those, and I do remember the kits being available out there. I seem to remember that some one had one on the old cemte board.

Man... at 2.5K...that hurts....dats as much as a MARS CETME!
I guess I will continue my search for neet autoloading 762x54R rifles.
SVTs outta my range...

Steelcore, you know belt feds are expensive :) Hell, just the parts kits on these were $1400 with tripod.
