Guys, I'm looking at a new HK USP .40, full size. I've wanted one for years and found some yesterday for $700 with a military discount. Does that price sound about right?

Nice pistol. My brother just got the same gun in the compact model for $600 this last week. He usually stays up on the prices pretty well. Sounds about right for the standard. I think the USP in 45 is 200 to 300 more.

Yeah, the .45 was $965 with the discount.

I haven't looked at them in a while but $965 for a full size seems kinda high?!?! That seems to be what maybe the compact would go for? But like I said I haven't looked at them for a few years and maybe prices have jumped up. (I was looking at a USP compact in .40 and it was around $700 new)

$700 sounds about right to me. I'd say go for it, the USP's are exellent pistols.
