has anybody else had trouble getting the holes to line up on the century cast ss reciever? i milled off the stock on the end and it slides on far enough but it seems like it needs to move down towards the bottom of the reciever, and that would take a lot of dremmeling and filing. i can get the front hole to line up, and get a pin in it but the back one becomes missmatched. the piece slides on all the way until the top of it hits the rear of the sight mount. has anyone else had this problem?

Yes. I had a terible time getting mine fitted as well. It mostly just takes patience, and peseverance. You'll get it. Just do a little at a time.

Two the things to keep in mind when dealing with the cast receivers;

One is that they are all a little long at the rear, and will have to be trimmeddown to get the holes to line up.

Second is that the buttstock support for the CETME and G3 have very different profiles, and the Cast receivers are releived at the rear to match these profiles.

What this means to you is that while a CETME buttstock support will fit onto a G3 Cast receiver, the G3 buttstock support will NOT fit onto a CETME receiver without some modification to either the buttstock support, or the receiver.

Make sure you have a CETME buttstock support.
